Images not being saved after being "placed" in CK editor write-ups

there is now a difference in behaviour between the two files

OK. I have now introduced the same
into the presenters_login_trial.php variant. So it is now present in both.

However, the trial variant also has the following lines, which I earlier introduced for testing, and so I could see what was happening:

<?php echo($rsMyPresentersLoginData->getColumnVal("ID")); ?>
<?php echo($_SESSION['SecurityAssist_ID']); ?>
<?php echo($rsMyPresentersLoginData->getColumnVal("UserName")); ?>

This is now displaying the information on that _trial variant of the page. It does so every time, and no matter how many times I reload or refresh.

But the login process itself is failing. The actual login is failing in both files, even though the information about user 4, with the given username and password, is consistently showing on the _trial page.
thank you.
