Update: I may have solved it, but I want to be sure I'm thinking right. So if you want to confirm, thanks. Now I have instead changed the rule to "Restrict if <?php echo $ _SESSION ['UserGroupID'];?> <> 1" instead. Then it seems to work.
Okay, I do not know if I understood correctly.
But I have now added UserGroupID as a session to the UserGroupID column in authenticate. And I changed the VerifiedAdminUser rule to allow if <? Php echo $ _SESSION ['UserGroupID']; ?> = 1. Then I put "Grant access if" to a test page. This should allow only admin to log in to that page, since only admin has 1 as userGroup. But also the other test user comes in, who has userGroup 2. What have I missed?
You write "update your Authenticate User server behavior to save the user group value ...", but what I should do is retrieve this value from the correct user in the database, right? If so, how do I do this?
