datepicker field storing all dates to database as 1/1/70 no matter what user selects?

Thank you Ray, that appears to have done the trick certainly.

Shouldn't the value of the DOB field be the following though, considering that there's validation on this form:

<?php echo(isset($_GET['v1'])?ValidatedField("vieworder_201","SMCformDOB"):$rsEDITFORM->getColumnVal("SMCformDOB")?date("d-m-Y",strtotime($rsEDITFORM->getColumnVal("SMCformDOB"))):""); ?>

Appreciate the help with this, thank you.

EDIT: Hmm, that doesn't work seemingly. If you change the DOB, then put some text in either of the telephone fields and submit, the DOB field blanks itself using the above code. How do we retain the selected DOB in this scenario? I assume the above code is simply wrong?
