Re: "Step 4: Delete entered email" in 'Web Development tutorial series: Add a subscribe/unsubscribe' feature

Thread began 4/12/2020 5:58 am by yogastudents362523 | Last modified 5/25/2020 10:18 am by yogastudents362523 | 1377 views | 89 replies

I wish to confirm / affirm that I still have the following three issues:

I wanted to follow the instructions in this thread:

so that users could subscriber without having to log in.

I decided to begin by renaming my local version of this folder, so I would get all "correct" versions from the server where you have created them in the

directory. But in the midst of copying to a completely fresh directory, I received an error message telling me that
was trying to copy itself to itself, and so what did I want to do? I answered "No" to the overwrite question reasoning that it was better to keep two copies than one.

Could you please advise of correct location, file size, date, and other relevant criteria for the "correct" file so I can be assured I can copy the correct one to my local drive.

Using the Admin interface to add a user produces a verification message and link that has an empty reference as ID=, and also does not send one back to the profils page but rather leaves one hanging on a blank page giving every impression that the system has hanged.

(C) Also as stated above, using the drop-down menu in the Admin interface to select an Audience when creating a new mailing produces the error error message:

"Mailing has no audience members. Please update your audience".

Thank you,

(PS if there is a working version of the files that allow a user to unsubscribe without logging in as suggested by the thread I referenced, it would be nice to receive same, or else to know where they are located!!. Thank you).
