Migrating site use the stand alone Express Checkout

Thread began 3/26/2020 12:11 pm by TroyD | Last modified 4/02/2020 8:38 pm by TroyD | 512 views | 26 replies

If I was to setup a test site so that I can fully experience both sides of Payment Pro, can I just put it on one of my spare sites with an SSL and then use my paypal sandbox accounts? I have a buyer account and a seller account. I assume it will function with those as long as I have WA_PayPal_PayPal_API_TestMode set to true right? Or is that even necessary?

I want to setup a dummy site so that I can test it and also have my clients look at it to see if it's truly what they want before they sign up to pay the $30 or $40 monthly fee.

Also, up above in your post #23 you said "As long as you support paypal payments, you couldn't get access to the billing information I don't think.". Could you elaborate on this? I'm not sure what you meant. Do you mean the Pro will return the billing only if they use a cc, or did you mean if we continue using the stand alone version?
