I am sorry to be troubling you on a Sunday afternoon with a triviality. Do you please know where I might get a downloadable version of PHP that will work on CentOS 6.7-64? I see recommendations that I should get the Version 5.6, but I see nothing telling me where to go to get a set of files.

I might try myself, if I summon up the courage. I urgently need things to work, and have so far had no response to the ticket I put in.
