Don't particularly want to add to the shelf-life of this sad thread, but to be fair to esms, a point that keeps being made all over this forum - and subsequently ignored by anybody with a WA connection - is that the promotional material for WA products does rather down-play the skill level required to make the extensions work to the level as hinted at in the overview and features pages.
That isn't to dismiss the usefulness and value of the extensions in any way, or the level of support on the forum. It is simply pointing out the different perspectives from which software professionals and relative newcomers to dynamic web pages come.
Some - who make an issue on these pages of having thirty years of technical experience - shouldn't really be disingenuously attempting to compare their situation with someone who is relatively inexperienced; and the points that are repeatedly being made - should at least be respected and addressed, - preferably with a degree of politeness and empathy.
These products should be marketed with at least some hint of a learning curve to come, and if more mention is made of the support that customers will find on the forum, you will still make the sales.
