You also apparently didn't read the thread. You saw the title complaining about lack of help for beginners and piled on, ignoring the fact the the OP had been pointed to the locations of help for beginners. Posting questions in the PS2 forum would be far more productive than bashing the people helping in the DataAssist forum.

Confused! I'm not sure how creating a new thread in a different forum would have allowed me to reply to this thread. Additionally, I believed all these forums were connected by WA. Sorry, my mistake. But, in any case, I was simply voicing my opinion based on experience. At least I know for future reference, I'm only allowed to praise WA here. And, as stated in my previous post, this is what I have done on many occasions both on these forums and on one of the better software training sites.

Why try to discourage people from learning something new? The forum is full of people that thought they couldn't do it, only to discover a whole new world with a little help and encouragement.

Isn't this exactly what I and others like me are asking for. Phew! At least you're coming round to our way of thinking.

Who are you to decide that newbies are too stupid to learn dynamic development?

I'm not quite sure where you got this from? Where do I, or anyone else say this? But, the fact remains, if users are complaining (and can I remind you again that I didn't start the thread?), then there must be some area for improvement either in explanations (and I previously stated this would be worth paying for) or simply let potential users know in the advert movies that they will have to invest much more time in learning these skills; rather than categorically stating it will take no time at all.

Finally, I don't expect you to spend any more of your time trying to persuade me to accept there isn't an issue. I don't work for WA so it seems we have different perspectives. But please remember I was only commenting on how I saw it in reply to other users' comments.
