You had some issues on your template that prevented my original advice from working.

You need to put any code that you want to appear on every page outside of the editable regions on your template. You had a lot of code inside the doctitle editable region on your template so adding code to the doctitle editable region on your page was overwriting it.

I moved that code to after the doctitle editable region on your template, so that it would remain and the code in the doctitle editable region on your page would be placed above it. That fixed the page so that it works now and the template and page work with each other properly so that the page code can be on the page and the template shared code can be in the template.
