They are both worth using... As one of the "stupid" peeps who refuses to pay a monthly fee to Adobe, and am making a nice living at CS6 versions of Indy, PS, DW, Illy, I have also invested in Affinity's answer to Illy and PS. No issues. I can open my older Adobe files, fiddle in Affinity, save back both ways. Now, those old, old Quark files... that's another story. :-) I keep an ancient G3 around just to address some client files, some as old as 20 years, to work toward conversions. But, as I said, I'm just one of the "stupid" peeps who has invested in tools for decades and just really hate the concept of a monthly fee. But what do I know...

And Ray, I'd be delighted to beta test.
