Thanks for all of the feedback. I don't like the subscription model personally, but recurring revenue does have its advantages. It could give me enough to work on extensions more consistently, but it also gives me less incentive to do meaningful updates. I think adobe products have gone downhill since they moved to the subscription model. I think, in part, that is because there is no correlation between meaningful features and number of purchases.

It also rubs me the wrong way as an old-school software guy. I don't like monthly expenses in general. I don't even like using credit cards or leasing a car.

The good news is that the holiday break was good for my progress. The forums were light and I didn't have any large projects I was working on, so I think I'll have a beta out for Data Bridge v2 very soon.

I think I have just about everything working except the Security Assist wizard. I'm thinking I should have that done in a week, but I might even put out a free Alpha version for people to use and log bugs against without Security Assist functional later today to work out some of the kinks early if people are interested in checking it out and helping me find bugs, that's almost as good as a donation (not quite). I'll post to this thread with a link if I do.
