I don't agree.
Subscriptions are the best thing that has ever happened to software. You pay only when you use it, get updates immediately without having to wait for the next year's update (which you have to pay for as well)...
People (especially some old school adobe users) should stop thinking that they "own" the software. You own the license to use it ... the fact you "own the CD" of your DW CS4 does not mean you own the software ...
Just calculate how much money do you spend over 2 or 3 years for using the CS Master Collection and getting all the updates and bug fixes compared with the same period of Creative Cloud. People should just start using their brains to see that subscriptions are so much better and that the comparison to "renting" is stupid.
