"an unidentified error has occurred" when building recordset

Thread began 8/14/2017 4:19 pm by LionsMane | Last modified 8/15/2017 2:42 pm by LionsMane | 332 views | 7 replies

No dice.. :(

All of the database connection criteria is correct. We have no columns to worry about yet as I'm simply just trying to create a mySQLi recordset, and I'm not even getting to the connection yet because the mySQLi behavior won't complete the connection test. I'm back to getting the Unidentified Error Has Occurred message again. This would normally happen if my site definition was off in some way, but that is all correct too. There is no .htaccess on the server, so thing there to cause an issue. PHP version is correct on the server, so that shouldn't be an issue. If this needs to become a paid session, then so be it, but I need to fix this ASAP.
