Cleaning all sessions after checkout

Thread began 6/12/2009 1:43 pm by info275691 | Last modified 10/23/2009 11:45 am by info275691 | 4505 views | 30 replies

starting new session after checkout

I apologise for tacking this request onto this thread but I cannot for the life of me find the 'New Thread' button.

My issue:

On the success page of the cart (page immediately after store cart summary and store cart details to database behavious have been applied) I have this code in an attempt to destroy the session because I want to use the session number as the order Id.

// WA_ClearSession
$clearAll = TRUE;
$clearThese = explode(",","");
foreach ($_SESSION as $key => $value){
foreach($clearThese as $value){

But I find that the session number is unchanged after this page.

What is best practice here?

Many thanks
