CMS getting started

I am trying to get cms working but having some problems!
I have the database generated OK with twelve tables.
In DW I open a new php file.
I place some text in the body and highlight this.

In the top toolbar I open
webassist >cms>add content to power cms
The Content area wizard appears I enter body in the Content Area box and click finish.
The design page opens with a box called CMS Content but I cannot change the text.
I save the page.
I press F12 and the page opens blank.

Can you see what I am doing wrong please?

Code below

<?php require_once('Connections/PowerCMSConnection.php'); ?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "">
<html xmlns="">
<?php require_once("WA_CMS/WA_CMS.php"); ?>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<title>Untitled Document</title>

<?php echo WA_getCMSContent($database_PowerCMSConnection, $PowerCMSConnection, 'cmstest', 'Body'); ?>
<?php WA_manageSEO(); ?>

btw I did find the login and method of entering new text but still nothing appears in the browser.
