UPS Size Dimensions Not Working

Ray, I think that I am making some progress on this project. It turns out that by increasing the height of the box from 6 inches to 12 inches, it brings me closer to what UPS actually charges for these larger items that I am selling. It's not a perfect solution, but it may just me the "simple" solution that I have been seeking. I will still need to do some testing of all of the dimensions, and hopefully with the help of my supplier, I can come to some kind of happy solution. Thank you for the tip about the UPS total box dimensions as this was the breakthrough I was looking for. Always a pleasure to chat.
