UPS Size Dimensions Not Working

Ray, before I proceed further, I already know that the maximum weight that I can pass for a single item to UPS is 150 pounds. Any item over 150 LBS results in a failure of the UPS server behavior. The way that I have been trying to recoup additional shipping is by setting the shipping weight for these heavy items to 150 LBS even though their actual weight might be 80 or 90 LBS. What kills me is that my supplier charges me per box (which is standard with UPS) and that these large items consist of multiple boxes. So if I collect $140 in shipping for a large item, I wind up actually paying $220 or $240 because the manufacturer charges for each box. I suppose I can experiment with the UPS maximum box volumes to see if I can get an increase in the shipping quote. Let me experiment with this first before I commit to a Premium Support Ticket. I also do not want to commit the Premium Support Ticket only to find out that this was not a fixable problem. I hope that you understand.
