UPS Size Dimensions Not Working

The problem with "ship items separately" in the UPS server behavior is that it does not factor in multiple boxes per item. I already have this as my default UPS server behavior setting. I realize that what I am needing to get done is complex. However, I am losing $40 to $100 per sale because I am failing to collect the appropriate about of shipping with eCart on some of the larger, multiple box plant light carts.

The way I see this working is that I will probably need to create another database that contains all of the dimensions and then join them to the product ID. Somehow, I am not sure how yet, all of the dimensions will need to be sent to the UPS server behavior so the most accurate UPS rate quote.
