Multiple items to pass to Paypal, but PayPal not accepting results

My customer has a PayPal Payments Standard account, and I have built a webpage that is a very basic shopping cart, collecting information on the products ordered.

I then set up a "buy now" button using the paypal buttons, and added a loop of the recordset information to list all products.

I have given the code in private, plus a link to the page in question.

The issue is that PayPal, when the "cmd" is "_xclick" doesn't seem to collect any information and asks for "purchase details". I tried changing the "cmd" to "_cart" but then Paypal gives an error about the setup.

I what I am doing possible? If it is, can you tell me where I have gone wrong?
