Displaying different currencies for different countries - best approach?

Are you familiar with Stripe? What interested me, apart from how smooth it all looks and how easy it is to make a payment, is their reference to International payments:
https://stripe.com/gb/payments

...and the currencies they support:
https://support.stripe.com/questions/which-currencies-does-stripe-support

Might this be a solution or is this simply referring to how you receive the payment from the customers bank?

Would this be easy enough to integrate with eCart? I notice reference, in the docs, to tokenisation?
https://stripe.com/docs/quickstart

Would appreciate your advice. Thank you.
