Search page pulling in incorrect data

Thread began 2/07/2017 8:37 pm by EmmaMorris | Last modified 3/01/2017 3:21 pm by EmmaMorris | 3810 views | 58 replies

On this search results page (the existing one. Eventually I will convert it to your recommendations) if I list the value of the specialties field (the array, say 2,5,10) it obviously lists the values that are stored there. I need a way to convert those to the string values that are in the matching specialtiestbl table. I was trying mysql_fetch_array but am not sure that's the way to go since I already have the list of numbers. If I put the rsMain.specialtiesID on the page it prints the string of numbers..

I am just looking for a list like so: Specialties: Medical, Cardiologist, Internal Medicine etc...
What would be the best way to do that?

Added later:
Worked on this some more.
This prints out the values of the array, numerically with a space in between. Now I just need to translate that to the values in the Specialties table instead of numbers

$specialtiesArray = explode(",",$rsExpand->getColumnVal("specialtiesID"));

foreach ($specialtiesArray as $specialty)
echo $specialty.' ';
