In the form I have another security question, I want to put a select field so the user can contact a certain department, in the select field I plan to put as values numbers and in the mail behaviour the To field will be populated by a recordset, this recordset will obtain the mail address from its id that will be equal to the post value of the select field.

Will that avoid the security issue of putting the mail address directly in the value of the select field?
Will the mail behaviour work with mysqli recordsets?
