I've tried both Webassist and DMX. both have pros and cons, now the biggest issue with webassist is updates because they have a great and quick support response.

Webassist

pros:

just few extensions that cover a lot
nice forum, easy to use and easy to follow tutorials
Better price
You own the extensions
Great support

cons:

out of date for several years. I cannot use the extensions as before. MSQLi and AJAX update is a must

DMX

pros:

always up to date
have also great design extensions
they cover new libraries (bootstrap, html5 animation, fonts awesome)
Programing languaje in Ajax, mysli, php, ASP
They have chat support (is good)

cons:

You have to install all extensions separately
The support forum is not so nice
I posted a question in the forum a year ago and still is not answered
Extensions not as easy to use as webassist
Expensive yearly subscription is for 588 euros, that is 625 US Dollars
To own the extensions is even more expensive

I hope Webassist to update it's extensions soon this year I'm sure all of us that have wait for that update will not be disappointed.

Maybe Ray has to stop forum support for some days so he can have the updates ready soon. As for me, I like more Webassist extensions.
