Must Delay before submit in IE

I have pages made from DA wizard, no modification. (winXP DA 2.0.6 CS4)

When attempting to submit form values form any othe pages, the form will not post if the insert/update/delete buttom is pressed within 0-3-4 seconds after page load.

If I wait 5 or more seconds then the form submits normally.

In FF or Chrome the form will submit normally as fast as you can click.

Anyone ever run into this before?? Could it be that IE is executing JS or CSS itmes fora few seconds and that is what is forcing the required delay??

Has anyone ran into this before?? I can add a JS that keeps the button disabled for 5 seconds but that is kinda cheesy.
