thanks for that i am feelig bettrabou myself already :)

is it me or does the the msql query thngy look easier to use especially when updating a table with info - it seems you can just type the info straight in there.
perhaps i have not covered the bit in phpmyadmin yet because all i can do with it is create a new database and assign tables - can i be cheeky and ask if you know where i can find anyinfo about using it properly the one i used is from a pack called wamp 5 which i know is not the latest version but the nice people at lynda.com really only used this one - there stuff is good but they need a lot more on mysql and php myadmin inorder to leave me feeling confident
