I recently had a Geotrust SSL Certificate installed through 1 & 1. Now my store will not function properly at checkout.

Still happening

Hey Ray, still happening...Not sure what's up. It won't work, then i'll try a second time and it will work. My business partner is in MN and he's trying to get a few customers set up and the empty cart screen keeps coming up. I double checked the .htaccess file and nothing has changed. Is there anything you can think of that would be causing this? My partner said after 2 or 3 tries he wasn't getting it to work and for me it was taking 2 tries. I don't want to lose a customer because they are frustrated with our checkout system. How can an SSL certificate cause this much chaos?? Thanks in advance Ray.

UPDATE: I think my SSL needs to be switched over to when you enter the store, or even item page. It seems that once you hit "Checkout" it then switches to the SSL (https) and loses the cart data that was on http. Once it says cart empty, i can select a new (or the same) product, add to cart again, hit "Checkout" and this time it works. I noticed that after that first "Checkout" attempt, the SSL is loaded and being used on all the /store pages. So once i add a new item and i re-enter the my cart and hit "Checkout" it works because it was added to the cart with the SSL working (https) and not with it not switched over yet (http). Doesn't seem too complicated but I truly don't know the exact fix to this situation. And i could be completely wrong haha
