How to create recordset in mac DW CC using DBridge 1.22

Connecting to database on localhost MAMP Apache w DW CC using DBridge 1.22

How do I create a database connection in Data Bridge? The only way I've found is indirectly through one of the Wizards, but can't get that to work.

My Database panel used to work but now doesn't. All the procedures are checked, but + doesn't work. Do I need this panel anymore?

The Wizard seems to find my database but not the tables. When I attempt to create another connection using the Wizard (using the same successful connections previously used without the Wizard), I get 'Unidentified Error has occurred'.

Using MAMP PHP 5.6 and MySQL 5.1 on localhost Apache server
