Dynamic Drop Down - set value equal to....

Body onload failure

I have followed your instructions on this thread. For some reason I cannot get it to work. I created the 3 onload behaviors and the saved value does not populate the child table. The example is vague on the third behavior as to weather you select the reference column to the parent table or the id to the child table. So, I tried both to no avail.

My tables are very simple:

Parent table: Column 1: salespersonID, column 2: salespersonName
Child table: Column 1: customerID, column 2: salespersonRef, column 3: customerName

1. Set select: I create and onload behavior, set select using parent table and selecting salespersonID

2. Populate list: I use child list, source parent, target child

3. Set select: I create second onload behavior using the salespersonRef column from child table as the value

What am I missing?

Joe
