You might want to read what little documentation that is there.. using what was there I could not come up with what you did.. and this does not include te need for a submit button as the closet guide talks abouting using a Dreamweaver subserver behavior

using the instructions provided (and not cheating on what I learned about form) I come up with a disfunctional

function WA_setCookie(cookieobj, cookiename, cookievalue, cookiecheck, settype, expdays) {
var theValue = "";
if (settype == 1) {
for (var n=0; n<cookievalue.length; n++) {
if (cookievalue[n].checked) {
theValue = cookievalue[n].value;
else if (settype == 2) {
for (var n=0; n<cookievalue.options.length; n++) {
if (cookievalue.options[n].selected) {
if (theValue != "")
theValue += ", ";
theValue += cookievalue.options[n].value;
else {
theValue = cookievalue

if (cookiecheck) {
if (expdays) {
cookieobj.expires = daysToExpire(expdays);
else {
cookieobj.expires = "";
cookieobj.setValue(cookiename, theValue, expdays);
function WA_cookieRedirect(CookieObj,Location,Alike,CookieName,CookieValue,RedirectTo,NewWindow) {
if ((CookieObj.getValue(CookieName)==CookieValue)==Alike) {
if (NewWindow);

<body onload="WA_cookieRedirect(WA_CookieObj,document,true,'doctestcheck','true','newjerseyindex.html',false)">
<form action="" method="post" name="testddocument">
<label><input name="doctest" type="checkbox" onclick="WA_setCookie(WA_CookieObj,'doctestcheck',document.testddocument.doctest.checked,true,0,30)" value="doctest" <?php if (!(strcmp(((isset($_COOKIE["doctestcheck"]))?$_COOKIE["doctestcheck"]:""),1))) {echo "checked=\"checked\"";} ?> /></label><label><input name="submit" type="submit" onclick="WA_setCookie(WA_CookieObj,'doctestcheck',document.testddocument.doctest.checked,true,0,30)" value="submit" /></label></form>

not the differences.. your approach was cleaner , better code and not documented
