MySQLi update?

When will MySQLi be rolled out into DataBridge and Design Extender etc?

This was promised months and months ago and it's really disappointing to have been hit for $99 for an extension that isn't fully compatible with everything else, particularly considering the "importance" you'd placed, at the time, on upgrading to MySQLi.

I have sites in development that I'm going to have to completely re-write because you promised something months ago that never materialised yet is a vital change in the way we should code PHP / MySQL sites.

Any chance of a realistic update on when things will be rolled out?

Thank you
