Getting an error message when checking for an existing name..

Thread began 9/18/2009 12:47 am by steve387748 | Last modified 9/21/2009 3:29 pm by steve387748 | 2570 views | 4 replies

Thanks for that info Jason. Out of curiosity is this workaround mentioned somewhere in the documentation and I just missed it?

One other thing regarding DA and the WA Insert Record behavior, is it supposed to do something similar to DW in the sense that it recognizes the field names in the database table and attempts to match them to the form's input fields being posted?

I was having trouble getting the info to insert correctly in the database and was surprised to see that I had to edit each input of data that was being posted with the proper column name in the database table. I say surprised, because I had created the form in DW previous to buying DA and FB, and I had added DW's Insert Record server behavior that automatically matched the various form inputs with the correct database table column name. Basically I didn't have to change a thing for the DW Insert Record behavior.

Is this not the case for DA's Insert Record behavior?
