Multiple Shipping costs

Thread began 9/11/2009 6:56 am by kelly291243 | Last modified 10/07/2009 4:02 pm by kelly291243 | 2723 views | 15 replies

Hi, I have read this thread with great interest, as I am also trying to set up UK and International shipping rates.

I have a need at the moment for a single rate for each option, £3 for UK shipping and £7 for International shipping. I will eventually be adding an additional sum per item, but at this time I have this problem with the basic calculations.

As I go through the checkout process, I find that both shipping rates are added automatically irrespective of the shipping location, in other words, £10 appears on the cart.php page as shipping together with the item details.

I have carefully followed the directions and each rate works perfectly if the other is disabled. I expect that I am missing something simple here, and would be grateful for a pointer in the right direction.

Many thanks in anticipation

Hi, I have managed to solve the problem, I wasn't defining the session variable in the second part of the rule.

Everything is working now.

Many thanks
