Extensions do not work in Dreamweaver 2014.1 release

Are the new versions released then? Can we safely upgrade Dreamweaver now?

I'm confused by the lack of correspondence on this, particularly with the likes of Ben and I, and I'm sure many others, who have, up to now, remained as loyal and as patient as we could be under the circumstances.

I can't help but agree about DMXzone. It's all so much more professional and they seem to have a much better relationship with Adobe.

Moving forward, being the small business that we are I simply can't afford these types of problems. Had I upgraded Dreamweaver before I noticed this problem with the WebAssist extensions I would have ended up spending hours rolling back software and extensions. It would have been a complete mess and I've no doubt that I would have ended up as utterly frustrated as Ben sounds above.

What worries me most now is whether WebAssist can, or even want to, survive this. If they pull the plug then where does that leave us and all of our WebAssist extensions developed websites?

Some reassurance would be nice and I'm also hoping that the apology, this time, won't be another "spend more money and we'll give you a discount" gesture which was, frankly, insulting last time.

Worrying times indeed.
