Disounts applied to individual products when bought in bulk

Disounts applied to individual products when bought in bulk

Jason, you very kindly helped me get my discounts working. We are applying discounts based on QTY. Break points dictate the discount. Works great. Below is the formula we used and the attached shows my next problem.
(abs([Quantity] >= 6 && [Quantity] < 12)?([Price] * [Quantity]) * 0.05:0) +.............. etc

The problem I have is when two or more variations of the one product are added to the cart. The discount is applied line by line. Is it possible to have the discount applied to the product as a whole, including the size variations etc. The screen shot shows the problem well. One product in the cart with two variations. The discount needs to be applied to the 15 fleeces and not just the first ten. Hope this makes sense.

If I didn't have any clients I think life would be so much easier :)
