Hi Thanks for that...Im wondering if I would still need it though as I kinda got it working so far. but still would like to disect your method shortly :)

Im wondering if my version isnt working perfectly yet because I need to impliment Jamie's suggestion of altering my recordsets in both the categpry and product pages? Did you see the error that is display when you go directly to a product?

eg this link:

im wonderign what it means my OFFSET 0 is invalid and why its references the category.php page rather than the product.php page (sine the above url is essentially on the product.php page). So Im wondering if Jamie's recordset tweak would do the trick. I wanna find out first before trying it :)

the error message is referencing this code on line 81 : mysql_data_seek($rsProducts,0);

the code block in context is:

                while (
$row_rsProducts mysql_fetch_assoc($rsProducts)) { ?>
        <li class="category-wrap"> <a href="product.php?Product=<?php echo $row_rsProducts['ProductLink']; ?>"><img  src="images/products/thumbs/<?php echo $row_rsProducts['ProductImage']; ?>" alt="<?php echo $row_rsProducts['ProductName']; ?>" width="190" height="190" /></a>
          <div class="category-price">From &pound;<?php echo $row_rsProducts['ProductPrice']; ?></div>
          <div class="category-link"><a href="product.php?Product=<?php echo $row_rsProducts['ProductLink']; ?>">View Product</a></div>
        <?php ?>
