This is becoming relentless nonsense. I don't work for WebAssist, but I will certainly defend them on this.

If you want respect, maybe you should try being respectful yourself. Because you say WebAssist didn't offer you anything, that certainly doesn't mean "Screw You" as you inferred. It just means their business model does not allow for them to continue giving free major updates.

There are two methods to using their extensions - either own or subscription. Just because they started offering a subscription doesn't mean they don't care for you or that buying was a bad deal.

In other words if you PURCHASED the extensions outright, you OWN them FOREVER without ever spending a single extra dime if you don't want to.... The subscription offers a lower entry, but those people don't own them and furthermore, have to continue subscribing to keep using the licenses under the subscription.

That's not a scam... that's just plain and simple two different ways of using the product. Hey, I get it... the subscription model is not for everyone... if you are not professional designer - paying the $200 per year may not be appealing. But IT IS appealing to professional designers who will always want the latest offering from the company.

I bought SuperSuite nearly two years ago... WebAssist documentation was very clear in stating that you receive any major updates that come out within 30 days of your purchase. You continue to get bug fixes and dot releases for the shelf life of those extensions. There has to be a cutoff at some point... you can't just go around offering new products and major updates for free and stay in business.

As far as being a previous suite owner, WebAssist DOES offer discounts when they do major upgrades. There is, clearly, an "Upgrade" price marked for previous owners which is typically far less than it is for first time buyers.

What else do you want? Do you just want everything for free? What happens when you buy car and find out that next year's model has EVEN MORE features? Does the dealer owe you a free car, too?

If it was SUCH a bad deal for what you paid, why did you wait until now to complain? If it is so obvious that you were duped as you claim, I have trouble believing you didn't see this 4 months ago. Is it because the WA now has another option?

I think if everyone put as much time into creating something with the extensions as they do complaining, you would probably be far better off financially in the long run.

I get it... you may not be a pro designer... but if you really want to learn and get somewhere, ask for help on your projects... there are people here, including myself - as well as the WebAssist team (if you check any of the support forums), that will help you accomplish whatever it is you are trying to do.

Best regards,
