Image upload browse server error

I've just installed PowerCMS on a new site and get this error message when I click on "Browse Server" to try and upload images:

"Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/ on line 2556 Strict Standards: Declaration of MDB2_Driver_Common::raiseError() should be compatible with that of PEAR::raiseError() in /var/www/vhosts/ on line 986 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/ on line 924 Strict Standards: Declaration of MDB2_Driver_mysql::setTransactionIsolation() should be compatible with that of MDB2_Driver_Common::setTransactionIsolation() in /var/www/vhosts/ on line 1122 Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/ on line 1190 Strict Standards: Redefining already defined constructor for class kfmSession in /var/www/vhosts/ on line 58

Please Wait - loading... "

Then it just hangs... please advise.

Many thanks
