post #2, "create a recordset to lookup the users record in the the database, see the recordset on the profile page for details" what does "see the recordset on the profile page for details" refer to?

one of the pages created by securioty assist is the userupdate.php page. the recordset on that page uses the same concept as the one you need to create

  - post #5, what does "The Update record code is within the Login Page and the following was applied: DataAssist: Update Single Record" and "General Tab" refer to?

I'm not entirely sure what they mean in post 5, i did not write that post. It sounds like they added the Data Assist update single record to the login page.

The general tab is a tab in the update single record behavior.

  - post#10, I am not sure what is meant by "the rsLoggeduser recordset is not returning the correct result. you have it set to filter the user id column on the userID session variable, but the name of the session created by security assist is: SecurityAssist_UserID You need to use that session in the recordset instead."

they had the recordset set up wrong. the login page was storing the user ID in a session named SecurityAssist_UserID, but in the recordset, they where trying to use a session named userID as the filer which did not exist.
