after setting the shipping charges, only the cart object file in the WA_eCart folder needs to be uploaded.

How did you set the shipping rules? what session variable is used to trigger?

to helpp troubkeshoot, write the session value to the page using an echo statement:

<?php echo $_SESSON['sessionName']; ?>

where sessionName is the name of the session used in the rules.

if you want the nextDat session to use the value posted by the nextDay form element, the code for setting the session would be:
if(isset($_POST['nextday']) && $_POST['nextday'] != "") $_SESSION['nextDay'] = "". $_POST['nextday']."";

note however, that the radio buttons use the name ShippingType,

for the default rule, I would not use a based on session trigger, i would set the default rule to always apply, then set the other rules to add to the default.

so if the default rule is 2.00 instead of setting the first class rule to, say 15, set it to 13 so that the end result is 15 when both the default and first class rules are applied.
