Yeah but either way, everyone who owns the extensions owns them. If previous owners - whether it is for two months or two years do not want to sign up for the subscription right away, they don't have to. In fact, you can wait to see what new products WA does produce and then later decide if the subscription is right.
Here's my point... I buy a tool because it will help me get my job done and make money - not because I could get the tool on sale or otherwise. So at the exact moment when I make a purchase, I have to do a cost analysis that is the price I am going to pay right now make sense (i.e. will I be able to turn a profit, get the job done more efficiently, etc.). If the answer is yes, then I buy... if the answer is no, I don't buy. But from reading the arguments on here, it seems as if the appropriate cost analysis may have not been done from certain people.
The same Jeep Wrangler that sells for 27K and has payment of 495 a month can be LEASED for 245? And in many cases, 0 down? Should every person who purchased the Wrangler cry foul? The difference is between ownership and leasing.
At the end of the day, I want to create good designs and I use this forum to get help, help others, and ultimately create a better web product... but some of the comments on here lack logic, are certainly not positive whatsoever, and sometimes are worded with the craftiness of a teenager. Some here probably have legitimate complaints, but at least call sales to actually get it resolved rather than just slamming the forum with negativity.
