When and if this problem gets resolved can the resolution please be posted here. I am getting the same sporadic errors after upgrading to eCart 6 and tried everything in this thread to correct it. Sometimes and error is thrown on startup, sometimes it isn't. Not the end of the world - just annoying.
I don't see any reason for a Remote session to my machine, it seems like the same issue AND is not every start up so I can't promise it would act up if your did a remote session.
I'm sure if this thread gets resolved - it will work with my setup as well.
