Not liking the eCart 6 Checkout experience

The eCart 6 checkout experience was created to reflect modern eCommerce best practices.

It has become a widely adopted best practice to not have the customer enter the credit card information until the end of the checkout experience.

When having the credit card entered at the checkout page, the information needs to be stored in a session and passed from page to page. this is seen by many as a security risk. by entering the credit card on the final step, it does not need to be passed through the session, so the security risk is eliminated.

the checkout ecart 6 checkout wizard will not create the eCart 5 checkout page with credit card details entered on the credit card page.

you would have to hand code this if you really wanted that work flow.
