Paypal button not working

Hi Jason, thanks for talking to me earlier today via Skype. I've managed to get around my previous problem without having to reinstall Powerstore into the new folder - I've used a mod rewrite in the htaccess file to redirect page requests to the /draft directory but mask the directory name from the URL, which seems to be working fine. However, whilst running a final check, I've discovered that the Checkout with Paypal button isn't working - it just reloads the page. You'll see I reported this back at the beginning of the year but I don't know if it was ever fixed (our client has taken ages to approve the site so I lost track a bit) but I can't find anything in my support history to suggest it was. Also, for some reason the Checkout button on the page before that does not obey the mod rewrite rule, so when you click checkout it displays https://www.emmadoylejewellery.co.uk/draft/checkout.php and not https://www.emmadoylejewellery.co.uk/checkout.php. I think this is an unrelated issue as the Paypal button doesn't work even if I manually go to https://www.emmadoylejewellery.co.uk/checkout.php

Update: I've just tested the site in IE10 and Firefox and the URL rewriting isn't working in either of them! Obviously nothing to do with Powerstore, but if you have any idea why this might be it would be much appreciated! The code I included is in the PM section.
