No - I understand that they are different. That's what I'm saying - because of the server's settings we have to workaround them both.
The mail limit is covered by the UE settings to limit the number of emails sent in a particular time, in this case set to 4 per minute.
But how does UE try to override the server imposed timeout?
The hosting company seem to be saying that to do that the script would ideally break the total number of emails into batches, each of which should take less than the script timeout.
So for example, if there is a mail limit of 10 emails per minute, and a script timeout of 5 minutes, is it possible for UE to workaround both of those limits to send 100 emails if it would take 10 minutes to send them?
Ie can it break it down into 4 batches of 25, taking 2.5 minutes each?
