The mailing functionality is done with the use of the php mail function call. You can check this function call to see if there is some problem with the code being executed. To check it open the file at Universal Email > mail_PHP.php.

In this file on line 253 add in a new line, on this new line put this code and save the page:

php:
die("the mail call looks like this: <br/>mailto: " . $mailTo . "<br/>mail subject: " . $mailSubject . "<br/>mail content: " . $mailContent . "<br />mail header: " .  $mailHeader);

Once you have uploaded this to the server run a test, you should get this message printed to your screen with the values that are being used in the mail call. When you get these values back you can test with them by using the mail call directly to see if you get any different result.

If the standard mail call in php is not working for you then the contact form also will not work.
