Changing the Date Format in PhpMyAdmin DB

Thread began 5/22/2012 3:26 am by salaroche | Last modified 8/16/2013 12:46 pm by salaroche | 19326 views | 16 replies

That was an incredibly intuitive answer, I would have never guessed that the separator determined how it was treated. After reading your explanation I thought it would be a good idea to contact the person that I'm constructing this database for and find out how they had their dates formatted currently, and they indeed were using slashes as opposed to dashes so I guess I didn't really need the conversion but it's good to know that there is a way to do it and you probably saved me hours of confusion and frustration. Thank you so much for your detailed explanation.
