looking at the source code for the email, it looks like the hieght for the table is set to 225.

it looks like the proper height in the email i receive, see attached screen shot.
NOTE: not all email clients will show table heights. some, like hotmail wont interpret heights correctly.
for the date, the database will only accept a date using the format:
in the insert record behavior, you will need to reformat the date for it to insert properly.
when you bind the date column to the date form element, the binding code will look similar to:
<?php echo((isset($_POST["datefield"]))?$_POST["datefield"]:"") ?>
change that to the following to reformat the date:
<?php echo((isset($_POST["datefield"]))?date("Y-m-d", strtotime($_POST["datefield"])):"") ?>
