Inline HTML Editor object not supported/ errors displaying in IE 8

Thread began 6/11/2013 12:43 pm by zuffster370186 | Last modified 6/19/2013 4:34 pm by zuffster370186 | 1741 views | 27 replies

Jason, first I really appreciate all your help. I moved the php include code over within the <head> tags on one of the sub pages and it works. Now IE8 displays a black overlay over the areas that can be edited. The black overlay literally hides the text on the page.

I checked the changes in IE9, Firefox, and Safari and they still render the inline editor correctly. I know you said the three-step 'fix' to all of this required us to move this code in each of the pages.

If moving the following code to the inside of the head tags solves all these issues with cross browser compatibility, is there anyway for Webassist to generate a fix for PowerCMS to automatically insert the code within the <head> tags?

<?php require_once('WA_Globals/WA_Globals.php'); ?>
<?php require_once('WA_CMS/addtosite.php'); ?>
<?php require_once("WA_CMS/WA_CMS.php"); ?>
