Log In page/Update Record Page

Thread began 6/11/2013 6:52 pm by Robert | Last modified 6/13/2013 3:11 pm by Robert | 631 views | 17 replies

I have an UPDATE page that works well for regular fields, but not so well for list menu fields. I have two fields, (Category and Subcategory). They are dependent of each other.
I created two recordsets (Parent and Child) Parent for Category and Child for Subcategory.
I turned parent list into a dynamic list and chose the dynamic value for the field.
I created dynamic array and populated List from Array.

Problem: When I log in as a user Category field shows what category the business is in, but the Subcategory is blank.

Note: I have 3 tables in my database.
Parent table-with parent id and parent text.
Child Table-with child id, child text and ParentChildID
AllList2 Table-with user's info such as username, password, email, ChildID, CategoryID etc.
