We don't blacklist, or flag users who are opinionated. Listening to an opinionated customer about our high prices and lack of subscription led us to make this decision of creating one. Your feedback is appreciated and thoughtfully considered and may lead us to change our policy or strategy in rolling out large changes in the future.
You think 3 months is enough to go back? earlier someone was talking about their purchases for the last year. Sometimes it appears the expectation depens more upon when someone purchased than what someone thinks is truly reasonable. We decided 30 days was reasonable and did our price model based on that assumption.
We could have raised the price and gone back further, but we are definitely a forward looking company, and as you point out, maybe to a fualt. If we went back too far the economics would have prevented us from doing it at all.
I am glad you will still be taking part in the program and taking advantage of the benefit this means to you in the future without letting buyers remorse cloud your judgement. Although this doesn't represent a benefit to your past, it really does represent one to your future.
